Kevin Wright

Co-founder and President

Kevin Wright is an energy business leader with 26 years of experience. He has a passion for renewable energy, market transformation, and implementation of innovative energy technologies. He has expertise in evaluation, design and implementation of resilient, sustainable business solutions and  management practices. Kevin is able to unify complex technology, economic and regulatory outcomes. As a founding partner of ProtoGen, Inc, he is charged with leading the team vision and strategy. In this role he has developed a notable list of clients and has assembled a highly productive team of experts. Kevin is consistently engaged with industry stakeholder, thought leadership, education, and recruitment efforts.

Andy Mackey, CMVP

Co-founder and Executive Vice President

Andrew Mackey has more than 20 years of experience in the construction industry, holding a master’s degree in architectural engineering. He is a Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), FAA-licensed drone pilot, Master Instructor for the DOE’s Solar Ready Vets program, and lead curriculum developer and train-the-trainer instructor for the Energy Storage and Microgrid Training and Certification (ESAMTAC) program. Andy has advanced experience in project development modeling, merging cross-disciplinary skillsets and software packages to create advanced feasibility and performance models of projects. He is responsible for all aspects of business operations and leads all technical and financial activities.

Adam Morse, P.E.

Vice President of Engineering

Adam Morse is a licensed Professional Engineer with more than 15 years of experience in renewable and distributed energy. He holds a B.S. in electrical engineering as well as a Master of Arts. Adam’s responsibilities include modeling, analysis, project estimating, design, and equipment specification across a wide range of microgrid, renewable energy, and distributed energy projects. Adam’s design perspective is deeply informed by his hands-on work as a field technician. He is also an expert at technical writing and the National Electrical Code (NEC) as it relates to distributed energy resources.

Aaron Trebing

Lead Data Scientist

Aaron holds a B.S. in Physics and Mathematics and an M.S. in Data Science. He is experienced in both R&D and production environments, designing models with real-time data for statistical modeling and helping to sculpt business decisions based on connecting data. Aaron is an expert at discovering patterns through exploratory data analysis. In his capacity as Lead Data Scientist, Aaron designs microgrid arrays and PV systems for commercial businesses, and assists in techno-economic modeling of distributed energy resources and technologies. 

Matthew Finnegan, Esq.

Manager of Regulatory Affairs

Matthew Finnegan is a Pennsylvania-barred attorney who completed his studies at Penn State Law with a focus on energy and regulatory law. His diverse legal experience includes collaborating with non-profit organizations and contributing to legislative drafts for the PA state legislature. In his role as Regulatory Affairs Analyst, Matt assists clients in navigating complex regulatory procedures. He meticulously analyzes local, state, and federal regulations to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with all regulatory standards. Matt actively monitors nationwide regulatory advancements to keep abreast of the dynamic energy sector and provide our clients with valuable insights.

Yodisa Chrisman

Operations Manager

Yodisa Chrisman is a dedicated administrative specialist with over 8 years of experience in the construction industry. Yodisa holds an A.A.S in Interior Design, bringing strength in creative concepts and analytical project coordination. In her role as Operations Manager, she is responsible for streamlining operational efficiencies through process development and improvements. Yodisa brings her leadership and organizational skills to bear in facilitating recruiting and onboarding, writing and maintaining SOPs, and creating HR materials. With a strong background in design, she generates marketing assets, defines style guides, and manages the company social media pages.

Matthew Neuffer

XR Developer

Matthew Neuffer is a passionate and driven creator with over 7 years of XR experience. He holds a B.S. in Interactive Media and Game Design from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, where the engineering-focused environment allowed him to also collaborate across mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering disciplines. Matthew is leading the development of our XR training platforms, bringing immersive learning to the forefront of energy education. With a background in graphic design, web development, and game development, he delivers comprehensive, end-to-end solutions for XR applications. His multidisciplinary expertise ensures seamless integration of technology, user experience, and creative design into virtual experiences.
